It's the middle of the winter ( February 13th ) and Football season seems a long way off.
But we're going to ask all of you to look ahead and start thinking about something . . .

clearfieldfootball.org has been around since the 2006 season and in all of that time the focus
has been squarely on the Varsity program. But the fellas who take the spotlight every Friday
night don't just wake-up their Freshman year and decide to be football players. They have to
start somewhere, when they're much younger, and more often than not that start is in
.
Pee - Wee Football.

The pictures below, provided by Logan Cramer III, are the total coverage that we devoted to
the Pee-Wee program last season. This page is intended to be the start of changing that.

With a somewhat different approach. Your clearfieldfootball reporters - Logan and I - spend
most of the fall following and covering the varsity, and it takes lots of time and travel.

So, we're going to start clearfieldpeeweefootball from a different perspective - that much of
the content be provided by the kids who are involved and by the parents of those same kids.

Actually we can get started right now - if you have pictures from previous years you could
send them here and we'll get them on the site right away. Terry Jordan has been
instrumental in urging us to get this started so here's a challenge for him: send us
some pictures of Trey when he was a Pee-Wee. What better way to demonstrate the
importance of the Pee-Wee's than some pictures of a varsity star way back when ?

And Gabe Ford just won the Pee-Wee Perserverance Award. It would be great to
have some shots of Gabe from his Pee-Wee days. And all of the other guys !

So, there you have it. We look forward to receiving some pictures to kick it off.
When the season rolls around we'll have schedules and rosters and lots of the other
stuff we feature on the "big kids" site - but we need your input.
