In the 1952 "Bison" much of the editorial content, like this one above, take the form of letters or reports to "Pop". The year's "Bison" was dedicated to Major Fred "Pop" Weidner,  CHS Chemistry
and Physics instructor who was with the U.S. Army in Japan, having been called back to duty during the Korean War after also serving four years in World War II.  Mr. Weidner returned to CHS after
his military obligation and taught until his retirement in 1962.
