The evening was not only an occasion for a convincingly won football game but also a couple of
annual celebrations ~ The Bison Band Alumni Reunion and Homecoming, capped of course by the
crowning of our 2016 Homecoming Queen. Photos of these festivities are posted below the game pix.

2016 Homecoming Queen ceremony ~

Here Mr. Walker conducts the combined band, consisting of current Bison Band Members and
alumni from as long ago as 1931 to as recent as last spring's 2016 graduating class.

Mr. Ray S. Walker,104,of Bigler,CHS '31 is above
being driven to his podium by assistant AD
Chad Gearhart. Mr. Walker was the first Drum
Major for the Bison Band during his high school days and, not surprisingly, is always the oldest
participant in the annual reunion.

Clearfield’s Isaac Rumery evades three Bellefonte defenders
as he runs for a 9-yard gain during the first quarter of Friday’s
game. Isaac rushed for 46 yards and threw for 89 and a
score as the Bison topped Bellefonte 28-0.

Clearfield’s Ryan Lezzer steps away from a diving tackle
attempt on a third-quarter run. Ryan picked up 32 yards
on the ground and added 21 receiving yards to help
in a 28-0 victory over Bellefonte at the B.S.C.

Cleafield’s Matt Collins (52) and Steven Sawyer team up
to take down Bellefonte running back Dexter Gallishaw
during the third quarter of Friday’s game. The Bison
defense limited the Raiders to just 68 total yards of
offense and recorded a shutout in the 28-0 win.
