The context of that last loss to Philipsburg-Osceola ~ The date was October 7, 2011 and the Bisons (sic) were 5 and 0. The game was to be played at P-O's old Memorial Stadium down by the Cold Stream
Dam and it was their Homecoming night. With Coach Janocko's career win total at 199 the Clearfield faithful had every reason to expect that the number would grow to 200 when the night was over; the Mounties hadn't beaten Clearfield once in their last twelve tries. The score went back and forth all night and it did seem as though whoever had the ball at the final whistle would get the win. And that pretty much turned out to be the case with the final tally P-O 40, Clearfield 33. Coach's win #200 would have
to wait until the following week after a 175 mile bus trip to Hamburg PA.
