clearfieldfootball.org  joins the entire BEA Community in mourning the loss of Coach J. Gawen Stoker who died Thursday.

Ron Bracken's tribute from the Centre Daily Times is here ~

and Nick Wagner's from the Lewistown Sentinel is
HERE  - full Obituary

Driving distance from BEA's Alumni Stadium to Bellefonte's Rogers Stadium is only about five and a quarter miles, and physically the two are much closer together than that.

While rain at the Clearfield/BEA game held
off until after the final whistle, Bellefonte's
game with the Central Dragons, just a few
miles away, had to be halted at half-time
due to thunderstorms.

The weather there was so bad and so
persistent that the game was called complete
at the half with the Dragons leading  41-6.

Back closer to home things weren't much
better with Curwensville's second half vs. Sheffield being postponed to Monday.
